🇲🇽POLANCO in Mexico City is the place everyone wants to live – it’s often described as the Beverly Hills of CDMX! If you’re looking for Things to Do in Mexico City for your Mexico trip in 2018, check out my latest video as part of my Mexico Travel Guide!

In this video I take a walk around Polanco and visit some of the best places to visit in Polanco, from the Museo Soumaya, an awesome art gallery with amazing architecture, local high end shopping malls (a Prada on each floor!), an incredible church and most of all, give you an idea of the daily life of the locals, driving their Mercedes, Audis and BMWs around this awesome area!

WATCH until the end for a preview of the next episode from TEOTIHUACAN!

Thanks for Watching! The aim of first world traveler is to provide an honest (sometimes brutally honest) take on the travel world which is often missing from Travel YouTube channels. I provide useful information on Long Term Travel, Solo Travel, Digital Nomad Life, Things to Do and City Basics!

  1. I love Mexico City. So beautiful and rich with culture. I hope I can come back one day. One of the places that has more museums in the world. I’m from Los Angeles USA and I would love to move to Mexico City instead. Food is always delicious and it’s EVERYWHERE

  2. Polanco no es PARA NADA el Beverly Hills de México 😂 hay ciudades y areas mas bellas en el pais que cdmx

  3. I love Mexico city! My dad is from Mexico city, but ever since I was a little girl I always dreamed of living there!

  4. Yes Polanco is a must visit in Mexico City plus the Food wow❗️❗️❗️ fabulous decor restaurant’s. Great for dates

  5. The museum holds Carlos Slim’s srt collection. Mexico holds the record for the city with more museums and galleries in the world. Polanco is not the richest neighborhood in CDMX .

  6. Thank you for realizing that Mexico City can even compare with cities like Dubai and Hong Kong, too many people don't realize it

  7. Mexico is the best they respect elders and respects the dead and has the best street food in the world best art and believes in Jesus and so many riches and beautiful places so many kind and loving people there best candy and restaurants -Love Mexico 🇲🇽❤️

  8. Polanco is nice but not the nicest, just an expensive area with things you can find all over other areas just as well. One thing Mexicans hate is foreigners making Polanco or Roma THE only areas they will consider. We don't care since it leaves the really cool areas for US! But they're missing out…. There are areas like Lomas de Chapultepec, el Pedregal de San Angel y el Desierto de los Leones that don't want to be mentioned and not just anyone can live there. Now that's exclusive. Also, sorry you don't enjoy Museums, we are BIG museum and art people so CDMX is a paradise for us! The Soumaya Museum was donated by Carlos Slim in remembrance of his wife and gave an impressive collection (many masters there!) so the people of Mexico could see them for free! YAY!!! Keep up the CDMX wanderings and enjoy it! Talk soon….

  9. David, don’t apologize for being a snob. I too am a first world traveler that thrives on comfort and the good stuff in general. No, I don’t have much money either. Vivan los snobs!

  10. i am mexican, and i havent explore mexico city. i would like drive through polanco. lomas chapultepec. greetings from Durango Mexico

  11. When people talk about mexico you don't think it will be like this and looks actually nicer than the city I live here in the us.

  12. i fucking hate how mean my people can be when turist get stuff wrong about our contry like shut up they are no Mexicans be happy they are showing love to our contry and stop worrying about the small stuff

  13. There are better and more richest places like bosques de las Lomas, las Lomas, sta de, pedregal, rancho San Francisco, los robles and los encinos are much better and much expensive than Polanco ! Polanco its ok !

  14. Ya know the video is cool but your accent kills me, as an American your accent sounds like the absolute worst impression of a British accent made by someone who isn't British. I watched the whole thing though, gotta give you that watch time because the video was good, don't get me wrong. Also you could try to pronounce Spanish words with the correct accent rather than completely butchering them but maybe I'm biased because I've been learning Spanish my whole life so hearing words pronounced wrong physically pains me, glad you had fun though!

  15. Palacio de Hierro GroupEdit

El Palacio de Hierro is a department store chain that points to the most affluent market in Mexico, with prestigious international brands, many of which operates exclusively as Hermes, Burberry, Adolfo Dominguez, etc. . Founded in 1891 by a Frenchman, became the first department store in Mexico, the retail chain Grupo Bal joined in 1963.

In addition to the operating department stores (a total of 9), the group has diversified into the restaurant industry, design (with the concept ' Palace House '), travel, spa and boutique brands of design and clothing like Burberry and Mango.
